Quizard vs Jungle
Jungle is one of the closest tools to Quizard: both turn lecture material into cards and questions. The differences are in the details, so here they are. Jungle has an appealing price, while Quizard keeps Anki export on the free plan and is built around seeing what you have and have not covered.
Jungle is best at
- Flashcards and multiple choice from slides, PDFs and video
- A low-priced paid plan
- Available in many languages
Choose Jungle if you want quick generation from mixed sources, including YouTube, and study in a language Quizard does not cover.
Quizard is best at
- Turning your own slides into exam-style questions and cards
- Showing the source slide behind every item
- Showing which slides you have not covered
Choose Quizard if you want Anki export on the free plan, each item linked to its slide, and a map of what you have covered.

When not to use Quizard
If you often study from YouTube videos, or the lower yearly price matters most and you do not need the slide map, Jungle is a sensible choice.
Using both
Both can work with Anki, so you could move between them, but you will usually want one place to generate and one place to review.

Quizard vs Jungle: common questions
Can Jungle export to Anki for free?
Its pages disagree. The pricing page lists Anki export under the paid plan, while an Anki landing page mentions free export, so check before you rely on it. In Quizard, Anki export is free on every plan.
Which is better for practice questions from slides?
Both can write them. Quizard adds a link to the slide on every question, holds back items it cannot match to a slide, and tracks which slides you have practised.
